So I've gotten lots of comments about Sophie's middle name. Here's the deal - In Ray's family, everyone has an English name and a Chinese name. Olivia's Chinese name is Wing Yee. It means that she will always be able to handle whatever comes her way - she will be able to adapt. Same sex siblings have part of the same Chinese name. Sophie and Olivia share the Wing part. Sophie's Chinese name is Wing Chang. It means she will always be bright and outstanding. It's also tradition for the grandparents to give the grandchild their Chinese name. So Ray's parents always have dibs on our children's middle names. Alot goes into giving a child their Chinese name. Ray's parents debated about this name for months. I know it's kind of different but it's part of what makes Sophie and Olivia special.

The Time Has Come
Well for all those who are on pins and needles, this baby will come before or on Wednesday February 20th. Today after my third non-stress test my doctor decided to induce me on Wednesday. My due date was somewhere between the 14th and March 1st. He felt the 20th was a good middle point. I really didn't think I would make it this far. I've been dialated for two weeks and having lots of contractions. Infact I am having contractions as I type. I never experienced any of this with Olivia. My water broke and I went it. I wasn't dialated or having contractions. They induced me and she was out 17 hours later. Let's hope this one doesn't take that long and she comes safe and healthy. Well the next time I blog, it will be to introduce our new daughter.

Valentine Memories
I'm going to copy my friend Jonelle and try remember all of the Valentines' Ray and I have spent together.
Valentine's Day 2003
Ray and I weren't quite dating yet but we were definetly interested in each other. We had to work at Albertson's that night. He was all dressed up in a red shirt and he looked so cute. He gave all of the ladies working that night a rose but he saved the best one for me.
Valentine's Day 2004
We were engaged this year. Ray and I went to dinner (can't remember where) and then we went and saw a movie. I think it was 50 First Dates. He gave me beautiful roses.
Valentine's Day 2005
This was the first year we were married. Ray took me to a bed and breakfast in Midway near Park City. We went to dinner at a steak house and stayed the night at the cute little inn. It was a beautiful place. He gave me roses.
Valentine's Day 2006
I know I was about 7 months pregnant with Olivia so I have a lapse in memory when it comes to this year. But I'm pretty sure I got beautiful roses.
Valentine's Day 2007
This was our first V-Day as parents. Ray took me to dinner at The Roof in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We both love this place and all of the fun desserts. I actually did not get roses this year.
Valentine's Day 2008
I will have a V-Day baby and Ray will buy me roses. Just a prediction.

Dialation Has Started
I'm hoping I spelled that right. Well this post is for all my pregnant friends. I had a doctors appointment today and I am dialated. Now before you get to jealous I'm only dialated to a 1. But this is exciting for me because I didn't dialate at all with Olivia. I was 39 weeks pregnant and only dialated to a finger tip. More good news from the docotor - He says the baby is head down but she is still a little far back. Now I'm actually hoping I DON'T have this baby in the next two weeks but the docotor says she could come at any time now. I want to finish out school and report cards but I am not so sure that's going to happen. Well there's a little update from me.

No Baby Yet!
I just thought I would give a little update on what's going on. I'm still pregnant. I have less than four weeks to go. We are getting anxious to see our new baby girl. Our bags are packed and sitting by the door. Ray and I are still going back and forth on names. So I added a poll, vote and let me know which name you like best. Olivia has another ear infection. This is her sixth one this year. We are now faced with the decision of whether or not we should put tubes in her ears. It's kinda of scary for me, the whole going under thing. We are going to see a specialist next week. We'll have to see how that goes before we make a decision. The cute ladies I teach with threw me a baby shower and they bought gifts for Ray, Olivia, and I. Olivia got a baby doll to help her practice for becoming a big sister. She has been dragging the doll around all weekened. It's pretty cute. She keeps wrapping her up in a blanket and trying to feed her. I think she's going to be a pretty great big sister. Well that's all for us!
