Daddy - MIA
I love my husband. I think he is a wonderful father and a great provider. I do however have serious reservations about his so called "business trips". Since March he has been to New York, Italy, and now Wyoming. He's been in Wyoming since Wednesday and he'll be back Saturday evening. He told me this was an Understanding Character trip but he packed his hiking boots and a folding chair. I'm not really sure how much work is actually going on. I pretty sure he's sitting around a campfire shootin the breeze with 10 other men. Meanwhile everyone of these business trips has left little old me and our two daughters at home fending for ourselves. Honestly 3 vacations in the last six months, I wish I had his job. My girls do however love all the cute presents Daddy brings home. At least we get some cheesy shirts out of the deal.

The Itsy Bitsy Sophie
On Friday Sophie had her 6 month check up. She's almost 7 months now so we were a couple of weeks late. Now from the beginning she's been a little on the small side but going into her appointment I thought she was about 15 or 16 pounds. Much to my surprise my little one weighs just a little over 14 pounds and has not grown length wise. That worried me a little but the Doc says she'll probably hit a growth spurt here soon. He's not expecting her to a big kid, EVER. I told the nurse I promise I feed her. She even eats more than average, usually. Besides the whole weight and height issue, she's perfectly healthy and developing wonderfully. The Doc says she's even a little ahead of schedule, which made me feel better. Sophie's been sitting up for a while now. She's loves to get down on her knees and start rocking. I hoping she won't crawl anytime soon. Life is crazy enough chasing Olivia around. She's also big on sleep which I love. She sleeps 12 hours at night and takes two naps during the day about two hours each. She really is the sweetest baby and she fits perfectly in my arms. Here are some pictures of our Itsy Bitsy Sophie. I don't think she looks that small.

Need A Good Book?

I really can't believe I'm blogging about this but it has completely taken over my life. The "TWILIGHT" series is amazing and completely addictive. It's four books about 500 pages each and I have flown through the first and second books in about two weeks. Every free moment I have I am reading. Don't worry my house is clean and my kids are fed I haven't completely lost my mind. But without giving thing away for those of you that haven't read it I am completely in love with Edward while my friend Laura is leaning more towards Jacob. Find a friend and borrow the book now. You will love it!
