A Mover & A Shaker

Twice in one day, I'm on a roll. I had to post this pic of Sophie. If you look closely she has a scrape on her nose. Sophie learned to crawl about a month ago and has not stopped moving since then. She turned 8 months this last week and has started to pull herself up on furniture. She pulls herself up and then lets go which prompts lots of screaming after she's bumped her head on something. She's also taken a few steps holding onto some of the furniture. I'm sure we're going to have an early walker with lots of pretty bumps and bruises.

Scarecrow Festival

So every year I ask my Kindergarten students what there favorite season is and they always say Summer. I usually agree with them because I am a big fan of the sun and sunbathing but this year Fall is slowly creeping into my number one spot. Last Saturday Ray's parents and I took the girls to the scarecrow festival at Thanksgiving point. I loved all of the leaves, pumpkins, and hay barrels. Livie had lots of fun with the slides and bounce houses. She also got her first face painting. Sophie spent a lot of time in the stroller but she loves people watching. She's such a happy baby. We had lots of FAMILY FALL FUN!

Odds and Ends

So we finally got around to cleaning off our camera. There were over 600 pictures on it most of them from Ray's trip to Italy and Wyoming. I did however find a few cute pictures of the girls depicting everyday life around our house. Here goes....





Olivia's a great help around the house. She loves to do dishes, mop the floor, and put laundry in the dryer. Sophie usually just lays around playing with toys and drinking a bottle. Oh wouldn't it be great to be a baby.
