Kids Sing the Darnest Things

More on Olivia's expanding vocabulary...Every time she goes to Mama and Yea Yea's (grandma and grandpa) house she watches Prince of Egypt on video. Lately she's been walking around singing at the top of her lungs "Pharaoh let my people go". I asked her the other day, "Olivia where did you learn that?" She said, "It's from the Moses movie." She loves to make up songs and sing very loudly. She never gets the words right....something her mom is famous for.

Learning Chinese

I just love this picture from our trip to Idaho and had to post it. Olivia's got the biggest personality and I can't believe the things that come out of her mouth. Recently she's become very vocal and likes to share her opinion about everything. She's also learning Chinese which can be difficult for me at times. I know a few words and phrases but Olivia's vocabulary is starting to surpass mine. The other day she said something and I had no idea what she was talking about. I had to run to the phone and call Ray so he could translate for me. It was pretty funny she started to get irritated because I didn't understand what she way saying. Thank goodness for Daddy.

Sophie Turns 1!

Sophie turned one on February 20th. She had a full day with a hair cut, shots at her doctors visit, and shopping for party supplies. Our itsy bitsy Sophie hasn't grown much from her nine month visit. She's still little but she's walking and loves to eat cake.
Her stats at her doctors visit were:

Height: 27 and 3/4 inches 5%
Weight: 17 pounds 3%
Head Circumference: 50%
