A Conversation Between Mother and Daughter

Here's the scene: Mom is on the computer and daughter #1 - Olivia - is trying to sneak her way onto my lap in order to press all the buttons and cause mischief on the computer.
Olivia - "Mom."
Mom - "What."
Olivia - "I want to sit on your lap."
Mom - "No, I don't want you touching the computer."
Olivia - "But Mom I love you."
Mom - "I love you too but you're not sitting on my lap."
Olivia - "But Mom you're my best friend."
Mom - "Awe...you're my best friend too but you're still not getting on my lap."
Olivia - "Mom."
Mom - "Olivia go be Daddy's best friend and sit with him."
Olivia - "But Daddy won't let me talk."

Hmmm...I wonder why?

Our Sweet Sophie

Well Sophie reached a milestone on August 20th. She turned 18 months old and graduated to nursery. Yeah for Mom who teaches primary and is often a single parent during church because Daddy has to work most Sundays. I must say I was worried she would cry and cling to my leg but to my surprise she saw toys and ran right in and I ran right out. Here are some facts and favorites for our sweet girl Sophie:
Weight: 20lbs (This is not a joke. She's that small)
Height: 31 1/4 inches

5 Favorite Words
No No (Definetly #1 favorite word)
Nigh Nigh (Chinese for milk)
Bau Bau (Chinese for fool when she's eating)
Dop(stop) It (Usually she's saying this to Olivia)
Nana(banana) (Her favorite food)

5 Favorite Things To Do
Sleep - my little bug sleeps from 8 to 8 (sometimes 9) and takes 1
2-3 hour nap every day.
Sing - really it sounds more like screeching but anytime there's
music she loves to sing along
Water Days - Rays favorite thing to do is squeeze the hose so there's
no water coming out and then Sophie will put the hose right to her
face and that's when Ray lets it go and she gets soaked. She loves
it and goes back for more every time.
Color with markers - or rather mark her body up from head to toe. I
haven't learned to put the markers where she can't reach them yet.
Play anything girlie - Sophie loves to play with babies or pretend to
be cooking in her kitchen or carry around purses. She's such a girl.

Sophie's a doll and we love watching her grow.
