I love love summer. I love the sun, getting burned, being outside, swimming, and most of all racing. I did my first 5K of the season today. It was a beautiful day. Finally wonderful weather here in Utah. I did this race with my gym buddy. This was her first 5K ever and she worked so hard. I'm so proud that she didn't give up. P.S. why do race officials have you run uphill the last 1/2 mile of a race. I mean seriously.
Yes that is us with medals in our hands. I won't tell you what are time was but she placed 1st in our age category and I placed 2nd. Now for the next embarrassing detail - we were the only two racing in our age category. I know go ahead Laugh Out Loud buy hey a medal is a medal.
