1st Day of Kindergarten

The day has finally arrived. Today was Olivia's first official day of kindergarten. She did great and I did ok. The tears didn't start falling until I was back in the car after walking her to class. She was so excited after school to share all the wonderful things she did and learned. Her teacher gave each of the students a stuffed bear. Their homework was to name their bear and fill out an information sheet about it. The bear will be kept at school and used for quiet times (she's in an all day K) and story time. Olivia named her bear Cupcake. She's already loving school and can't wait to go back tomorrow.
