Our little family had a great Easter weekend. This was Olivia's first Easter where she got to celebrate and enjoy an Easter egg hunt. On Saturday we dyed Easter eggs and made sugar cookies in the shape of bunnies and eggs with Grandma in Bountiful. Olivia was so proud she told everyone on Sunday about her cookies. On Sunday we enjoyed a BBQ with Ray's family and my parents. Olivia got to have her first real Easter egg hunt. She loved running around the yard finding eggs. Sophie on the other hand, picked up about 4 eggs and then she was done. She sat on the grass instead, taking her eggs out of her basket and banging them on the ground. The Easter Bunny was extra nice and brought each of the girls two baskets filled with lots of candy. Mom wasn't exactly thrilled about that. Ray's and his dad worked the grill and we had lots of yummy food. I think the best part of Easter is spending time with family. We've been so blessed to have our parents so close and we fill so fortunate to have celebrated this Easter with them.
