It's been a while since my last post so here's a recap of the the last couple of weeks. At the end of July the girls and I backed our bags and headed to California to visit some family in good ol' V-Town. That's slang for Visalia. Where is that you say? It's situated between Fresno and Bakersfield and is literally the armpit of California. After a week of fun with the family, Ray joined us in Visalia for an evening. The next day along with his mom we took off to San Diego. We spent a week there seeing the sights, visiting Sea World and the San Diego Zoo Wild Life Park, eating fresh fish on the pier, and walking on the beach. It was tons of fun. If you ask Olivia what her favorite part was about family vacation she'll tell you with lots of enthusiasm, Shamu! After spending the week in San Diego we packed our car and headed back to Utah but not before stopping and spending the weekend in Las Vegas. I loathe Las Vegas. I'm convinced nothing good ever happens there. My aunt was getting married there though and lots of family were gathering to celebrate with her. I would have for gone this little party in Vegas except that this aunt is my favorite and her boys are practically little brothers to me. After a long weekend in Vegas, we once again packed up and headed home to Utah. I both dread and love coming home. On the one hand it feels so good to sleep in my own bed and not eat out everyday. On the other hand I have to unpack and there's no maid to make the bed and clean the bathroom anymore. Oh well back to reality I guess. Here are some pictures of our vacation...
This is Sophie on her 1st amusement park ride. During this trip we discover that both Olivia and Sophie are quite the thrill seekers. They loved all the rides and their favorite were the tea cups.
Here's us after getting SPLASHED by SHAMU. We sat in the second row and loved every minute of getting soaked. Ray was able to take some amazing shots of the whales in action.
Olivia has become quite the poser. Every time we asked her to smile for a picture. She gladly obliged and even did a little posing.
We had a blast at the wildlife park goofing around and visiting the dinosaurs. They were mechanical and moved. Some of them even spit out water. Olivia wasn't to fond of the roars.
Here's me and my baby brother. We are 11 months apart in age but about 9 inches apart in height. I'm not sure but I think I was supposed to be taller.
Ray and I wondered if we could get married again in Vegas :)

What a fun trip! You took some great pictures.
Good old V-town. Looks like it was a fun vacation. I haven't seen Jared in forever. You'll have to tell him hi for me. You have such a cute little family.
