Sophie's First Prayer

So my cute little Sophie is 2 1/2 and has been saying prayers for a while now. Her prayers usually go like this - "Heavenly Father, Jesus, Amen". With a little prompting from Mom and Dad sometimes we can get her to say a little more. So tonight when Sophie said, "I want to pray," I braced myself for the usual. However, this is what we got tonight - "Heavenly Father, Thank you for Mommy, Thank you for Daddy, Thank you for Livie, Thank you for Mama (grandma), Thank you for Yea Yea (Grandpa), Thank you for Crystal (neighbor), Thank you for Gary (neighbor), Thank you for baby Maddox (Gary and Crystal's baby), Jesus, Amen." We were shocked and very proud of Sophie. She was so excited and of course it made Livie a tad jealous and she just had to say her prayer over again. I am love with my these girls. I can't imagine a greater blessing than motherhood. It also made me beam with pride (just a little). I mean we must be doing something right if our sweet girls are excited to pray.
