Day 19 and Turning 60

I failed! Obviously I skipped a day and did not post a picture. In my defense, we didn't make it home from Lagoon until 12:30 in the morning. I also did not take any pictures. I was leery of taking my expensive camera to a place where it could easily suffer damage. I'm not giving up though. I'm continuing on.

This is Yea-Yea (Chinese for grandfather). He is one of our favorite people. We are so blessed and fortunate to have him in our lives. On Tuesday he will be turning 60. We celebrated his birthday with family, friends, and a big ole BBQ. Our favorite things.

P.S. Did you know - The Chinese believe it's bad luck to celebrate a person's birthday after the actual date. This is why we celebrated this weekend instead of next.
